E-Mail Addresses

This is a list of all of the Chi Alpha members at WMU who have given me e-mail addresses. I imagine that most of them would love to get e-mail from you. However, I can't guarantee that everyone will check their e-mail regularly. So don't be surprised if your e-mail is not answered immediately.

Also keep in mind that some accounts expire at the end of the semester (usually those which start with a 3-digit number such as 230townsend) and most students don't check their e-mail during the summer (mid-April through August for us).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before using the links on this page to send e-mail, you must first change some of the options. The following instructions apply to Netscape version 3.0 (other browsers should have similar options):

(1) Pull down the OPTIONS menu and select MAIL PREFERENCES. Select the IDENTITY tab and change the default e-mail address to your own e-mail address. Make sure you include the @wmich.edu on the end if you are using a WMU account.

(2) Select the SERVERS tab and change the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server to gw.wmich.edu

It has come to my attention that this is no longer possible in some WMU labs. However, all is not lost! Look at the lower left corner of your browser as you move the mouse pointer over an e-mail link. You will notice that it displays the e-mail address and you can write it down and e-mail the old-fashioned way using a VAX terminal or other method.
